Well, we’re in the home stretch now. Lindsey is currently at 35 weeks so we’ll be seeing the little guy soon enough. I think a lot of the excitement has dulled into patient anticipation as we play the waiting game, but we’re ready.

We got a few things for his trip home, his first few meals, and his sleepy-time.

The sleep sack thing was a recommendation from a book I got from my sister/brother-in-law. The little guy can’t kick his covers off if they’re attached to his shirt! Take that, baby!

His nursery is almost done. I’m putting the last few coats of paint on a bookshelf I built for him and then that room will be ready go.

Here are a few pictures of the finished parts of the room. The cool pictures on the wall are from an old children’s book. Lindsey liked the super-animated faces of the animals so she cut them out and mounted them in the frames. The barnyard scene above the changing table is something I had in my room when I was a little kid.
